Revised anaphylaxis treatment guidelines
The Resuscitation Council (UK) has published revised guidelines for the treatment of anaphylactic reactions.
The guidelines simplify the recognition of anaphylaxis and recommend an Airway, Breathing, Circulation, Disability, Exposure, (ABCDE) approach to the management of anaphylactic reactions.
They are an essential resource for all health professionals involved in immunisation.
The guidelines can be viewed in full here (412KB PDF) and are also available on the Resuscitation Council (UK) website at http://www.resus.org.uk
