Travellers should be aware of the risks of yellow fever, its prevention and the issues surrounding yellow fever vaccine.

The NHS Response Line number is changing.  The launch of the new Department of Health publications order line will occur this weekend.  You will be able to order further supplies of the International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP) on the following numbers:

ORDER LINE  0300 123 1002

TEXTPHONE   0300 123 1003

The ICVP replaced the green Port 37 forms last year. Port 37 forms should not be used for documenting yellow fever vaccination. Stocks should be replaced with the new ICVP. For more information see Frequently Asked Questions.

How to become a Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre

As part of NaTHNaC's remit of “Protecting the health of British travellers”, one aim is to ensure high standards of yellow fever vaccination and procedure through a programme of registration, training, standards and audit.

The following links explain the designation procedures for centres in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Training Information

New dates confirmed

Further update seminars for 2008 have now been confirmed including training in Eastbourne, Lancaster and Cambridge. Click here for information and application forms.  

If you don't see a date that meets your requirements please continue to check these pages over the next couple of weeks. Please note however that delegates will be expected to travel to their nearest seminar. 

Training is mandatory for all centres wishing to become and remain a designated centre.
